  • This is not a recreational program. Your student will receive focused, pre-professional training designed specifically for those pursuing competitive college musical theatre programs.

  • Students train with working Broadway and industry professionals who understand exactly what top college programs are looking for and how to help your student stand out.

  • With only 12 students accepted, your child won’t get lost in a crowd. They’ll receive personalized coaching, direct feedback, and mentorship every step of the way.

  • From building a strong audition book to mastering self-tapes and mock auditions, students leave with the tools, confidence, and preparation needed to succeed in the college audition process.

Meet the Team

  • Wensday Greenbaum

    Vocal Instructor

    Professional performer, director, choreographer, and recording artist. Wensday’s 2007 album Torch Rock was placed on the Grammy ballot in multiple categories during the Recording Academy voting process. She brings extensive experience in musical theatre performance, movement for actors, and character-driven choreography. Her work helps performers connect physical storytelling to emotional authenticity.

  • Joe Carney

    Acting Instructor

    Best known for the 2000 revival production of Godspell, and it’s recording of Alex Lacamoire’s rearrangements.
    Joe has been featured on cast recordings and is widely respected for his powerful vocal performance and authentic storytelling approach. His teaching emphasizes vocal freedom, emotional truth, and confident audition presence.

  • Connor Buonaccorsi

    Dance Instructor

    Broadway performer and educator with experience in Broadway productions and national tours. Connor specializes in vocal performance, contemporary musical theatre repertoire, and audition storytelling technique. He brings real-world industry standards and professional audition insight directly into the classroom.

  • The Rhode to Broadway Institute Teen College Prep Intensive is designed for serious high school performers who are preparing for competitive college musical theatre auditions and are ready for pre-professional level training.

  • The program is highly selective, with only 12 students accepted total. This ensures individualized attention, personalized feedback, and a focused training environment.

  • Accepted students must confirm within one week and submit the first month’s tuition ($275) to reserve their place.

    • Tuition: $275 per month (July & August)

    • Schedule: Three classes per week (singing, dance, and acting)

  • Students will:

    • Build a personalized college audition book

    • Receive professional-level training and feedback

    • Learn self-taping and audition techniques

    • Perform in a final showcase

  • Applicants must submit:

    • Application form

    • Headshot or recent photo

    • 2–3 minute self-tape
